I was there during the day, and didn't really feel safe parking any place other than the main road. This place is a fucking dump in the middle of a fucking ghetto. I drove I-40 westbound from downtown Memphis to the “Gentleman”. Great name for a horrible club. Unless you happen to be someone very comfortable with hoodrats, or could possibly be mistaken for a thug or hoodrat yourself, do not go here if you value your safety. Really, do not go here at all. Not really any obvious place to park. I went inside anyway. I was already there. It looks like a fucking crack house. All over the walls it has signs like no dope smoking or prostitution. Not a person in sight. Didn’t hear any music. Any voices. Nothing. After about a minute I’d had it with this the rough looking place. Do not go here. |
